We are not an organisation. We are not even a registered body. We are just a group of youngsters, with the motive of 'bringing a change'.

We are not even well established to bring infrastructural changes for the nation. What we can do is bring psychological changes, in the minds of the citizens. This is one thing which the country needs today. We don't need blood for 'freedom', we just need responsible citizens for it.

Who are responsible citizens? They are men and women, who FOLLOW rules, who close a roadside tap when its flowing for no use, who turn off a fan of their office/classroom when it's empty, who pick up a paper ball thrown by someone else and throw it in a bin, who LOVE INDIA!

There are many who say that the government is careless, but we want people to ask themselves that do they care enough! We know that the government doesn't provide us with many dustbins but do we actually use them, when we are provided with them?

VISIONARIES-2020 started with a group of students from a particular institue discussing about these questions. Now, the group is becoming bigger, with volunteers from other colleges, institutions, organistions and offices, converging a support for India, converging a support for THEMSELVES!

This 15th January, on the INDIAN ARMY day, we would love INDIA for 15 minutes. 9PM to 9.15 PM is the time when we request all the responsible Delhiites to switch off the lights of just their houses (not offices, shops or any economic place!).

We want the maximum number of people to know about this, because to make an ocean we need many VALUABLE drops. (Forward the attachment)

LET'S LOVE INDIA FOR 15 MINUTES

Let us do something interesting and practical, to save the power resources of India, and to stop global warming.

We request you to switch off all the lights of your house on January 15, 2008 from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM. Imagine the amount of electricity saved, when numerous houses of Delhi would switch off their lights TOGETHER, for 15 minutes.

So go on and put a reminder on your cell phone. If people can die for the nation, then can't we do this much for it? Obviously, we can.
